If you're planning to get married in Fayetteville North Carolina you simply must check out the lovely Vizcaya Villa venue...

I photographed a wedding here two years ago and am getting ready to head back down there today in a couple of hours to cover S & N's wedding. It looks like it's going to be a hot one today with temperatures in the low 90's but it's OK because the venue itself offers cool sanctuary even on the hottest of NC summer days. All in all, it looks like I've got 7 hours of fun ahead for me from start to finish! 

I am hoping that today's ceremony will be held on the veranda nestled at the water's edge, such a pretty spot to exchange wedding vows!

This was the place where my prior clients tied the knot and the photos came out just beautifully, as a bonus the photos taken at my client's couples portrait session ended up on the cover of a local bridal magazine!

I've got my fingers crossed that today's forecasted thunderstorms are kept at bay as S & N have a sparkler exit scheduled tonight at around 11:30. Haha, lightning looks cool from a distance but the only electricity I'm comfortable photographing at close range on a wedding day is the kind generated from fireworks.
