Engagement photography shoot location : The North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC

My clients M & M are two hardworking students at a local college who have waited a long time for this day to happen. They are the sweetest couple and were just a joy to work with. 

Our morning photography shoot was off to a very chilly start as this time of year weather wise can go from the 80's to the 40's in a hurry. Despite the cold we cheerfully captured some lovely images at the always awesome NC Museum of Art. 

One of my favorite photographs's to take is of this huge green hill in the Art Park. Its even better on a windy day when the breeze kicks in adding movement to each shot however I will take a cloudy sky with calm winds like this  to really pop those colors any day.

Another cool backdrop found here is found in a little stand of trees off of the beaten path in the Park itself. There you will find trees "growing" straight through a couple of chairs. Totally the whimsey look my clients were looking for in their engagement photographs ! Much thanks to whomever decided to create this exhibit at the museum :)
