Southern Charm wedding photography in Smithfield NC

 Smithfield hosts a treasure, it's name is the Southern Charm wedding and this event venue is just the sweetest place to get hitched in central NC. With acres of green fields, an 19th century farm house and even a full event hall this location is perfectly suited for a romantic afternoon of wedding photography.

My clients were wed in front of the farm house on the front lawn under a late afternoon sun on a hot afternoon a few weeks ago. The ceremony was short but sweet and was followed up by a nice couples portrait session under the shade of the large crepe myrtles located on the side of the house and on the front patio at the ceremony spot.

Despite the warm temperatures I managed to capture a few really beautiful and peaceful moments of the happy couple before we headed inside the large even hall for the reception.

This was a 3 hour event for me and my only regret is that I wasn't there a little longer to capture some more candid moments of my clients and their guests enjoying the remainder of the evening. It was a real joy to be able to spend time with this sweet couple and I can't wait to return to Southern Charm again someday to photograph another gorgeous country wedding day!
