This wedding day was one of my favorites to capture! Between myself, my clients ( J & S ) and their guests we made up a group of 6 people. The wedding ceremony was held on a sunny afternoon in a grassy field in downtown Raleigh North Carolina's Fred Fletcher Park. The groom's brother officiated the ceremony and it was truly heartwarming to photograph the happy couple and the brothers embrace after the vows were exchanged! Such a sweet moment for sure!
After the wedding, my clients and I explored the grounds of Fred Fletcher Park plus a few extra bonus locations around Raleigh to capture some fun couples wedding day portraits. With most of the weddings that I photograph, typically I only have about 15-30 minutes to take these kinds of photos with the bride and groom however since there was no (formal) reception scheduled after the ceremony the happy couple and I were able to spend almost 2 hours together taking the pictures.
Although it's unusual that I have the opportunity to cover such a small wedding I absolutely loved every single second working with J & S. I really appreciated the extra "creative" time afforded to me to spend capturing their couples portraits.
Truly, time well spent! :)
