These are my favorite photos from the May 2019 production of Footloose at H.C.H.S.
It was really cool to watch my daughter and her classmates preform... I’m so happy for these kids :)

This was the second performance that I’ve attended and in addition to enjoying the proud mom moments, I used this time as an opportunity to test out the Canon 5DS in a low-lighting situation.
My goal was to push the limits of the ISO and test how good of job this camera could do (handheld no tripod).

I did not edit the photos to manipulate the stage lighting design or alter any spotlights shown on the faces of the actors.
Was just curious to see how everything would turn out under as real lighting conditions as possible.
Just a RAW to jpeg conversation under the Adobe Color preset (in Lightroom) was used along with the cropping of a few photos.

Special thanks to the students and teachers of the drama club and concert choir at Harnett Central High School.
