Wedding reception photography location : Gates Four Country Club , Fayetteville NC

My clients M & J were married at the Village Chapel in the lovely downtown area of Pinehurst North Carolina, a golfers paradise and an oasis of lush greens among towering long leaf pines. 

 I started the day early in the morning at my clients parents home capturing the "get ready" moments between M and her bridesmaids.

She and her fiance are huge fans of the University of Michigan and of that gorgeous royal blue and yellow color scheme that the school wears with pride so they incorporated that love in the details of their wedding day, right down to her garter.

After the final touches were applied to her makeup we snapped off a shot of her standing in her parents foyer for that classic wedding day bridal shot.

Next we headed out to the church for a first look session between her and J.

The Village Chapel grounds and interior were breathtaking and the wedding party was in high spirits as the guests began to arrive.

The ceremony itself was traditional and heartfelt vows were spoken under a soaring glass window in the main chapel.

After the ceremony ended we took a few group shots and then headed over to the Gates Four Country Club in Fayetteville , NC for the wedding reception.

Gates Four is a lovely venue to hold a wedding reception because of the potential for stellar wedding photography shots!  

The golf course itself is full of cheerfull shade of greens and warm browns that work as a great backdrop for couples portraits anytime of year.

 The interior of Gates Four is a photographers dream shooting situation with low white ceilings that bounce a flash in a most pleasing way. It was pure joy to have the opportunity to handle J & M's wedding photography and I would love to come back to this venue again sometime.
