A moment at the Fayetteville Train Station

Good morning :) I’ve been up since 4:30, preparing lunches for my family, sorting pics and tweeking the website code for good SEO. The backend work of my website is all about creating opportunities to expose my portfolio to just the right people who might be interested in the kind of work that I provide. Over the years, I’ve discovered that the behind the scenes maintenance is as important to my business as the front end workflow (editing photos, ad copy ect.) This mindset of creating opportunities for success is all about blazing my own path, as opposed to waiting around at the mercy of the Google algorithms or counting on the random chance of “good luck”. Interestingly, this is also how I operate when I’m on the job taking photos. This couples portrait was captured at the Fayetteville train station during their engagement session. The elements of the frame were unplanned and unexpected with (I think) beautiful results. The second pic was captured while I was hiking at a nearby park. When walking in the woods my head is constantly on a swivel, on the lookout for a cool photo opportunities. Along the trail, I was completely surprised and delighted to see that I’d been joined on my journey by a Wood Duck drake. He was doing his best to sneak by without notice, but that flash of color gave him away. . . . . . #raleighweddingphotographer #raleighweddingphotography #weddingphotographer #photography #instawed #fearlesslycolorful #ncweddingphotography #raleigh #silvercordeventphotography #weddingphotography #weddingphotos #ncweddingphotographer #nofilter #brides #bridesofinstagram #flashphotography #weddinginspiration #weddingpics #candidphotos #candidstylewedding #Photojournalisticstylewedding #realweddings #realemotion #documentarystyle #Illustrativeportraiture #thenatureofweddingphotography
