Wedding photography color matters : Nature is my aesthetic

One of the things I’m particularly concerned with when it comes to wedding photography is proper color renditioning. I prefer to deliver my clients photographs that reflect the true-to-life colors of their day vs. overlaying color altering filters on their images. No matter if I’m using a flash during the reception or natural light during portrait time, it would be fair to say that #natureismyaesthetic lol! This is why both my wildlife & wedding photography portfolios look similar in color tones and hues. My shooting style and love of nature is a big reason why I specialize in capturing outdoor weddings. Simply put, spending time outside its what I love to do when holding a camera :) By the way, I’ve been keeping busy this winter too! Birdnerd info: These little ones are called Ruby-crowned Kinglets. They spend the winter here in North Carolina and become as common as sparrows around here when the weather gets cold. They are quite challenging to photograph from a distance because they are very tiny (smaller then a Chickadee) and they are always moving. Fast! Getting decent shots of birds like this is how I keep my photographic skills sharp in between weddings. The thought is if I can manage to get in focus high speed shots of birds like these in weird lighting, weddings are easy by comparison lol!
