Wedding photography at St. Michaels Catholic Church Cary, N.C. with a backyard reception
Last week, I had the honor of photographing Mary and David's wedding at the St. Michael's Catholic Church. It was a beautiful ceremony and it was just wonderful to be there taking pictures for the couple as they exchanged their vows in front of their closest friends and family. It had been a few years since I photographed a wedding in this large church in Cary N.C. but gosh it was nice to be back :)

After their ceremony was completed, the couple, their guests and I traveled to the couples home in Franklinton for their reception dinner. We took the opportunity to capture Mary and David's romantic portraits in their very own backyard which was really cool because this land meant something special to them. I even got to hang out with the couple's two dogs which was freak'n awesome lol!

The evening was filled with laughter and fun conversations as the two families talked with one another over dinner. The toasts that were delivered by the maid of honor and the best man were just the sweetest (and funny) thing ever. I loved seeing how happy Mary and David were as their friends and family took the mic and delivered their kind words of encouragement to the couple.
