Prepare For Wind! No doubt, wind can be a challenging issue on your wedding day. Especially if you are getting married at the beach or in the mountains here in North Carolina! Here’s a few tips on how to avoid blustery trouble... When setting your hair & make up appointment, Be sure to notify your stylist’s that you’ll be having an outdoor wedding so they can plan a style that won’t leave you looking like you’ve been walking through a wind tunnel! If you're getting married at a particularly windy time of year try opting for a venue that is fairly sheltered, protecting you from any major gusts that might head your way. For those of you who are using a tent or marquee, double check with your vendor that it is up to the job and won’t come up off of the ground in the event that a strong wind blows in. Use heavy plates and centerpieces to hold your tablecloths down and consider using a paperweight to secure your table numbers displayed during the reception. All of these things considered, sometimes the wind can actually add an dramatic, yet elegant touch to your outdoor wedding day portraits. Just make sure that you are positioned facing the wind so that your hair, dress and veil blow back behind you as the photos are being taken. In addition, if it’s cold outside make sure to bring a jacket to put on in between shots so that you and your spouse don’t freeze in between pictures. . . . . . #raleighweddingphotographer #durhamweddingphotography #winstonsalemweddingphotographer #caryncweddingphotographer #ncweddingphotography #hollyspringsweddingphotography #silvercordeventphotography #weddingphotography #weddingphotos #wilmingtonweddingphotographer #chapelhillweddingphotographer #ncweddings #northcarolinaweddingphotogapher #2020engaged #2020bride #ashevilleweddingphotographer #fuquayvarinaweddingphotographer #booneweddingphotographer #rockymountweddingphotographer #obxweddingphotographer #outdoorweddingphotographer #outdoorweddingsnc
