Life at home for now

It’s such a weird time rn to be a wedding ‘tog. Without a spring wedding season, the pace of life is a lot slower around here. I’ve been keeping busy homeschooling my kids. That part is going really well actually! It’s nice to have them home during the day. I even finished laying all of the bricks on my back patio, plus cut down a tree in my yard. (need the exercise because my gym is closed lol!) Surprisingly, I’m actually outside in the woods using my cameras even more often now than during a typical wedding season. With spring migration getting underway, some of the prettiest birds ever are moving through the area and I’m loving it. Even got up the courage to start a birding YouTube channel. (Still too much of a wuss to show my face on camera, but hey, it’s a start, lol!) Taking photos today just because at least I still have that joy available to me in the moment. Definitely a good place to be given how I typically earn a living ;) I’m mindfully keeping my distance from the world at large, but I’m not in hiding ;) Of course I’m concerned for what the future may hold for all of us but life is too damn short to live in fear. So I keep moving. Keep shooting. Keep setting new goals & finding new targets. Doing the things I love to take care of the people I love. What about you?
