One of my favorite spots to host an engagement photography session is right here in Raleigh, NC, The North Carolina Museum of Art. From the way the light reflects off of the giant white steel and glass of the main gallery to the sunny green fields that surround the museum itself, this place has everything an engagement  photographer could ask for in a shooting location. I've even had the honor of being allowed to shoot inside the museum itself ! 

I've found that anytime of year is great for photography as well as almost anytime of day (even high noon!) though I always prefer to schedule my sessions before 9am and after 5pm because the light works a bit better.
