Wedding reception photography location - Prestonwood Country Club, Cary, NC

My clients V & T were married at the lovely St.Michael's Catholic Church one lovely evening last month in Raleigh. The ceremony was held in the smaller side chapel attended by the bride and grooms parents. It was a sweet and intimate event where the warmth and love shared between the couple and their families was palatable even on this chilly January night.

After a few formal family and couples portraits were taken we all headed down to the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary for a reception cocktail hour and dinner party. As usual the service and cuisine found at the Prestonwood was impeccable with delicious food and wine was served with a smile.

This was a very laid back evening filled with laughter and old stories shared between two families now joined as one. This ( thus far ) was the smallest wedding reception I have ever photographed and I have to say that I really enjoyed covering this wedding for the simple fact that since there were so few guests for the bride and groom to attend to throughout the night , they could really relax and truly enjoy the reception with each other and close family. The smiles on their faces were genuine without a hint of stress sometimes found on any given wedding day and it was easy to capture those awesome moments of pure joy since laughter abounded throughout the night.
