I'm sitting here this morning thinking about the bridal photo session that Ive got scheduled for this Saturday afternoon. As sip my coffee the weather forecaster is calling for freezing rain tonight with more to follow tomorrow. Yuck! Luckily the ice won't stay long as the weather looks decent enough for Saturday (perhaps in the high 50's!) but anytime it gets cold enough to bring on a bout of freezing rain or snow it prompts a tug in my artistic heart to capture beautiful winter scenes with my cameras.

 While I don't mess around with ice storms in regards to photoshoots a snowy afternoon spent working behind my camera is another matter. I'd love to have the opportunity to photograph a bridal portrait session with freshly fallen snow in the background. Unfortunately I've yet been able to have the starts align to provide both a snowstorm and a willing client brave enough to have their portraits taken in the snow. Yeah, I totally understand this 'cause cold sucks, haha, BUT I bet that the photos would be gorgeous. :) 

Sigh, unfortunately this weekend is looking sunny and most decidedly not snowy so I guess I'll have to wait. In the meantime I'm going to review a couple of the bridal photoshoots that I've covered in the past in the winter to see what areas I can improve the quality of the photos to come.
