Sometimes nature does not cooperate when it comes to scheduling an engagement photo shoot in January but every once in a while what seems like a bad timing can turn out to be an opportunity to create something simply magical!

 As luck would have it my clients A & C booked their engagement session the day after a huge ice storm here in the Raleigh area. The roads were a mess and I was even without power for a few days. After many emails & texts we decided to brave the elements and go ahead with the shoot anyway and WOW I am so glad that we did! The sun came out that morning of the shoot and just lit up the campus of Meredith College like a chandelier with millions of ice crystals reflecting the warm light in a thousand different ways. Though it was cold and the wind was raw my clients smiles were as bright and cheerful as could be!
