If your searching for a classically romantic place to get married in the Greensboro area then look no further then the magical venue, Castle McCulloch in lovely Jamestown NC.
This property boasts a large reception hall named the Crystal Gardens and an actual castle (complete with a moat!) on site. Just beautiful! Castle McCulloch is a wedding photographers dream when covering the big day for clients with plenty of gorgeous backdrops at every turn.
My clients M & T started the day getting ready at a local hotel and then we drove to the castle to join their relatives and friends who were there to witness and celebrate the happy couples love. Though it was raining lightly on this evening, M & T were wed outdoors under a canvas shade/tent which reflected the light from my flash nicely despite the fact that it was rather dark outside.
Though we did not have much daylight left after the ceremony we were still able to capture some fun photos with the wedding party and the newlyweds at the castle before the light completely disappeared. The reception that followed was a blast to cover as guests partied well into the evening under a large crystal chandelier in the main ballroom.
I enjoyed every minute covering this wedding day and my only wish is that the ceremony was started a little sooner so that we would have had more time to capture the couples portrait session in the daylight hours since the locations backdrop was so pretty however when all was said and done this was definitely one of my favorite events I have ever had the privilege of covering.
Congratulations M & T!!
