Here is a quick peek into my basic wedding photography post production process. I've selected a few sample images from a recent wedding that I photographed and wanted to show you a small slice of what I do behind the scenes. I've sped up the time lapse about 2000% so you don't have to spend 30 min's watching this video, haha!
Here is an abbreviated example below of the final images from the wedding featured above.
My basic post production process is as follows....
The bulk digital images are culled sorted and then are are edited for color, composition and clarity. Photos may be sharpened or softened depending on the circumstances and proper color calibration is preformed on every image. Every delivered color photo also gets a black and white copy made too. As a bonus, all the couples portraits also get a second edition color version, a sepia version and a newspaper or ivory toned version of the original color image.
By the way, did you catch the fact that the groom had a band aid on his temple in the series of photos above. The poor guy was in an accident on the day before his wedding. If you did not, don't feel badly! I left these specific photos in the video to highlight the fact that most people never notice things like that unless someone (like me ) points them out.
That being said, while I do not include blemish removal in my standard editing package, I am happy to fix blemishes or digitally remove band aids for any of my clients for $15 per image.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my work. If you have any questions about my photography service please contact me anytime!
