One of the best parts of my job of being a wedding and engagement photographer is getting the opportunity to get to know some truly awesome people here in North Carolina...

I have been blessed with some very memorable clients over the years but it's hard to match the fun loving and laid back attitudes of the couple featured in the photos below.

A & E were so awesome to work with and honestly I can't remember a moment where I have ever loved my job so much as I did when I was up to my waist wading into the Atlantic Ocean while trying to photograph this couple at the precise moment when a wave might crash dramatically behind them. A & E even climbed up a tree to snuggle in the branches, rode in a shopping cart and competed in a contest of who could jump off a swing farther! Haha, you can't make this kind of spontaneity up and oh, my did this couples united spirit of joy come out in the photos! 

Engagement photos are supposed to be romantic, but I think that when I'm able to photograph these truly fun and unscripted moments of pure mirth shared between a couple that this is something especially sweet! I truly relish the challenges proposed to me on a daily basis by my work and find a lot of happiness and inspiration to be the best photographer that I can be  when my clients have such fun loving and outgoing personalities such as the ones found here.
