Golden hour has just begun

One of the things on my photog bucket list is to spend more time taking portraits during golden hour. It’s just so classically beautiful outside at this time of day, I was in photog heaven working with K&R. The only challenge I encountered during this engagement session was a 15 mile race to a second shooting location against the setting sun on the winding backroads of NC... Love the soft light here on the waterfront as R&K strolled hand in hand on the dock. The sun was setting low in the sky so right after this shot was captured, it was time to say farewell to Washington NC and head out to Goose Creek Park to catch the last bit of lovely light. The short drive seemed to take forever as I drove through all of those twisty back roads to get to the park before the sun set.
