My editing style is probably best described as minimal. I’m not big on using stock presets or drastic changes in color filters. Some photogs can pull off that look very very well, me, not so much lol! I like green leaves and white dresses and try my best to deliver photos that accurately reflect the environment that I was shooting in. This portrait of DJ & Karina was captured under cloudy but bright conditions. I also enjoy shooting in black and white. It’s interesting to map out a photographs composition based on these beautiful couples stance while searching for that sweet light to set the scene. It’s sometimes easier to see the light better in black and white vs. color. D&K’s portraits were captured under a nice blanket of silvery diffused light thanks to the rain clouds overhead. How sweet are these two? So one of my fears as a wedding photographer is that maybe spending too much time capturing couples portraits.
