Yesterday I took the opportunity to head over to Yates Mill Park in Raleigh for a quick hike around the pond. This is a location that I often use for engagement sessions, especially in the fall and spring. It’s a nice spot with a water fall and beautiful forest to explore with decent chances of spotting local wildlife.
I gotta say that it was pretty nice to get out there at this time of year since the park was nearly empty. Definitely a nice break from the usually packed trail conditions that the warmer months bring!
Btw, I also uploaded my first video to IGTV which I do NOT recommend you watch, haha!
It was awkward as hell but kinda fun too :)
I definitely have to remember to clear my voice before starting, lol! Yikes!!!
Anyway, I think that I might start making short videos of the behind the scenes stuff and more of my weekly hikes around here a regular thing going forward.
Hopefully I’ll get used to the “omg I’m putting myself out there” fear factor and will make less cringeworthy videos as the year progresses.
