Hi! It is Day 2

So this is what I've been up to this morning...

*Added a bunch of photos to the public facing portfolio

* Entered all of the needed meta data for the new galleries and for the individual photos contained therein.

* Added the new site to my Google webmaster account

* Submitted the first site map to Search Console

* Started Fetching the first URLs for indexing

* Wrote and published one long form blog post

* Embedded a couple of Instagram posts into my Zenfolio Blog feed

* Scheduled those embeded social media blog posts to auto publish over the next week so that I can add new content on a regular basis.

The biggest word of advice that I can give to anyone trying to improve their search visibility using the Zenfoio platform is to USE YOUR BLOG and be consistant with your posting schedule! 

Google really, really, loves it when webmasters regulary update thier sites with fresh content.  Not surprisingly, human readers do too! Thats why I love scheduling most of my longform and Instagram blog articles ahead of time.

Generally, I publish original longform articles every Wednesday at 9:10 am and snippets of my Instagram feed every other day. It just saves a ton of stress to know that I can just set aside a day or two to hammer a bunch of stuff out and then be done with it. The fun thing is that once I've got a nice cushion of say 3 months worth of content set to publish, I then have the freedom to post fun personal stuff (like this!) without worrying about a deadline or pleasing the hungry index bots.

Now that this basic stuff has been taken care of, it will be intersting to see how long until the new site is indexed. My guess is that it will take 4 days for the listing to appear in search results (based on past experience). I will check here in a few days to let you know how it's going.
