Last week, I met up Geoff and Sarah at the JC Raulston Arboretum to hold their engagement session on a stormy summer afternoon. There were a ton of thunderstorms in the area, but luckily, the clouds parted just long enough for us to grab a few beautiful portraits. This was a great thing because this sweet couple is getting married this upcoming Saturday and they really wanted to try and get this session done before they got married. Happily, everything worked out wonderfully!

The JCRA is the perfect place to hold a photoshoot anytime of the year and especially so in the month of August. With hundreds of plants species from all over the world in bloom and plenty of leafy green trees everywhere, it's hard to find a better spot in the Triangle to take pictures.
