Wedding photography location: Snipes Farm Retreat, Chapel Hill North Carolina

C & K  have provided me with one of my favorite wedding shoots all year. They are truly a couple that were made for one another with smiles of adoration  providing evidence of this found in their wedding photography. 

The venue of Snipes Farm Retreat is a lovely place to get married and just a stellar location for a photographer like me to get to work, The main event hall/ dining room itself is a refurbished barn that just oozes upscale yet warm country "Carolina charm. Even the rooms provided for the wedding party to get ready are just perfect for photographs with a soft light that just glows in photos.

The ceremony location was held under a great willow tree's boughs under the springtime sun. With a pretty pond and an expansive emerald field to complement the backdrop I'd say that this is just the perfect place to tie the knot.

After the ceremony and the family photographs we took some time to snap off a few portraits on the grounds of Snipes Farm. 

Now it was party time!

NC, BBQ was on the menu and the dining room was just gorgeous decorated with a rainbow wildflowers and homemade strawberry jam jars on each table ( made by the bride, a lawyer by day and jam maker on the side ! )

Oh, I have never seen a better cup cake cutting - feeding - cake smash EVER! Seriously this was one of the funniest moments I have ever photographed at a wedding !

Don't worry, she returns the favor a little later on in the evening with an ambush and a little help from the 'in laws holding him down!

Here she is sneaking off while his back is turned to get some sweet revenge ammunition...

Mom and Dad grabbed their son as she returned with a cupcake headed right for his mouth, err , oops, missed!!! :)

Nailed it!

No hard feelings , just sweet memories :)

The rest of the evening was filled with dancing and ended with a cool sparkler lit exit. What a fun day spent with C & C, congratulations, your wedding was awesome!
