Wedding photography location : Barclay Villa, Angier NC
Reception location : Same
My clients W & Z were married on a warm November afternoon on the back lawn of the beautiful Barclay Villa in Angier NC. This venue is modeled after a late 18th century French estate and boasts several acres of lush gardens and an impeccable interior that heralds back to a simpler time and place, albeit in a most luxurious manner.
The ceremony was followed by a formal portrait session with the wedding party and families out in the front of the Villa under a cloudy late November sky. Once the couples portraits were completed we headed inside to party the evening away at a boisterous reception inside the cavernous main banquet hall. I particularly liked the Morpho Blue butterfly wedding cake, which was really tasty by the way :)
The Barclay Villa is an unexpected gem found among the pines and farm fields, truly a gorgeous venue that provides a lovely backdrop for excellent photography opportunities on your wedding day. By the way, the venue manager is a VERY nice lady who caters to her clients every needs in a friendly and professional manner. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone getting married in NC check this venue out before booking ANYWHERE else, you won't be disappointed :)
