My clients N & S wanted to showcase a unique style for their engagement photo shoot in downtown Fayetteville that highlighted a theme of timeless love with a 1940's-50's vintage / retro flair. We headed to the old train station to grab some fun pics of the two of them on the platform and captured some really pretty images while we dodged the impending raindrops from nearby tropical storm Colin.
After these photos were taken we headed inside the train station to photograph the two of them sitting on one of the old benches near the ticket counter.
N & S also wanted a few portraits to be taken at the Rose Garden downtown so we set up a picnic blanket in the grass next to the roses and grabbed a couple beautiful shots in the summer sun.
Each of these photos has been rendered with a "normal" color version as well as a retro wash, a cool blue tone, a vintage coal filtered, sepia toned and a color pop filter so every individual image can take on a different feel. Some images are quire colorful while others are more subtle as requested by my clients.
Thanks N & S for a wonderful afternoon!
