Check out this 1920's Glam inspired wedding that I photographed a few weeks ago in Raleigh!
I arrived at the venue about an hour or so before the ceremony started just as the Christmas Tree lighting parade was starting up just outside one of the windows in the ballroom.
The groom and his Dad getting a few photos taken after they finished getting ready.
The happiest guy in the world today!
After spending a little time with the Groom and his crew I headed off to find the Bride getting ready with her daughters and mother.
Before long it was time for the ceremony to start so I snapped off a few photos of the guests as they arrived and chatted with one another as they took their seats.
I wanted to get a photo of the cake in front of this lovely window before the sun went down and I had just enough time to take this picture before the wedding party made their appearance.
The bride being escorted by one of her Grooms son's down the aisle.
The "I do's."
A prayer over the couple to bless their marriage.
Sealing the deal with a kiss!
After the conclusion of the wedding ceremony we headed out side to capture a couple of portraits of the C & D standing on the sidewalk in front of the Sir Walter Raleigh Apartments. Normally pictures such as these would have been taken when it is light outside but thanks to my trusty flash, nighttime portraits are totally doable when needed. Due to a limited amount of time and the huge crowd of people walking all around us (parade traffic) we only were able to get a few photos in a limited space but wow, those Christmas lights in the background sure looked pretty!

Love the look on the Groom's fathers face when he and D. made their entrance into the ballroom during the reception!
The first dance was just as sweet as could be...
This is the moment that the Brides mother reached out to hold the Groom's hand during the first dance.
The Groom and his mother sharing a spin around the ballroom.
I really enjoyed taking the photos during the reception at this wedding. The guests were very sociable with one another, perfect for candid pics!
Loved the 1920's themed photo booth setup.
A sassy pic of the Bride's daughter.
The Bride's daughter delivers the wedding toast's.
Cutting the cake!
No cake smash here :)
Love this shot of D. & C. laughing during a wedding toast. Such sparkle!
This wedding guest knows how to party on the dance floor.
Love this guy's hat and moves.
That golden smile! What a wonderful evening. Nothing better then a last dance to wrap up the night.
Congratulations C & D!
